Ahhh, I finally got a new vehicle to replace my aging Hyndai Accent.
I stoped by the Toyota Dealer and got a '03 Toyota Tacoma SR5 with a V6 engine. 4WD and only 20K miles on it!!! I so can't wait to test out the four well drive!!!. Now if only I could find some cool offroad spots here.

The National Mall? I think DC police would be a bit upset with me. There are some spots like Popes creeck I'll check out in a week or to.

Not bad BB. Nice truck, I wouldn't mind replacing my Dodge minivan with one of these.

It stands for Toyota Racing Development.
I have a friend who has one.
He calls it "The TuRD."
Have fun!

All of my base choices are at least 1000 miles away from Jersey so chances are I'll have to haul it.
I'm thinking of an F-150 but I don't really care what it looks like. I don't wanna spend too much money on a truck cause all my money goes towards my bike.

I don't wanna spend too much money on a truck cause all my money goes towards my bike. There's a switch. Most people I know in the service always go for a place close to home for their first station. I know that's why I wanted California. If you have any time before you go, let me treat you to lunch. Fort F150's are pretty expensive. You could probably get a good truck that just's a few years old at a decent price. Take it easy -Zach

When it gets warmer we can set something up again. You're still in the Virginia area?
The reason why I picked somewhere so far away is because I'm sick and tired of the weather in the Northeast. My life now revolves around my bike and so I need year-round (or at least 8/10 months) of good riding. I picked Cali, Vegas and Florida just so that I wouldn't have to put up with 10 degree winters anymore. I had to take my bike to ROTC yesterday when it was 20 degrees outside and I almost froze to death. I never want to do that again but I have to every Thursday.
Well I'm definitely going used with my truck. And I don't want any fancy bells or whistles - I don't even want a passenger cab. All I want is the ability to haul my bike. I'm hoping to not spend anymore than $12,000.

Yeah, I'm living in Alexandria right now.
12,000. That should be plenty to get what you need if your main goal is just the ability to haul your bike.
