As good a reason as any bro, and better than most.

I saw this one coming.
20 minutes before I had been in the hills under those dark clouds. I saw the sun was about to break through and hauled ass toward Highway 1. The wild mustard takes over huge chunks of the fields on the coast side of the hills every spring.
The sun peeked through a hole in the clouds to the west and illuminated the fields with this spectacular light just about the time I got to the mustard fields. I shot over a hundred frames in various compositions in the few minutes that the rainbow was visible (Gotta love digital!).
A minute after this was taken another cloud covered the sun and it was all over.

That's beautiful! Did you take that 101? I just did not imagine that the landscape looked like that by you.

Pretty much the way I saw it.

The funny deal 101 is that the day before I read this thread, we had one of the most spectactular rainbows ever in Oklahoma City. After a heavy later afternoon rain we had a giant ellipsical shapedl tri color rainbow on our eastern horizon. It was incredible!
