Hahahh are you serious? My family are big Mets fans (not sure how I ended up a Yankees fan....) and they absolutely hated when Henderson was on the team. He was such a joke.....don't players realize that when you do this you only ruin your legacy? It would be like if Cal Ripken Jr. went to a different team after the Orioles... Just retire already.

You want to talk about tarnishing a legacy. One only has to look at Michael Jordan in a Wizards uniform, Babe Ruth in a Boston Braves uniform and just catch a glimp of Jose Conseco any you cringe at what he's become. Most times it's just best to leave a crowd wanting more when you retire.

I knew the Braves were once in Boston but I didn't know they were around when the Sox were. They had two teams at one point?

They had two teams at one point? Yep, Boston had 2 teams at one point. Sometime later the Braves moved to Milwauke (spelling) than finally moved to Atlanta sometime in the late 60's I think. The Babe spent the 1935 season with the Braves hitting 6 homeruns in 28 games. mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/stats_historical/mlb_individual_stats_player.jsp?playerID=121578&HS=TrueSo The Braves had the two home run kings play for them.

Another baseball player who refuses to retire is Julio Franco. This guy played since the early 80's and then traveled to Mexico to play there! He is now with the Braves as their backup first baseman. As for him and Henderson I say: Good for them! I like seeing these guys going back out there and playing with guys who could be their sons. If I was a General Manager I would definately sign Henderson. He would work for almost nothing and he can still play the game. I am a huge Mets fan and his attitude has hurt us, but he is truly a great player. I would love to see him swipe a few more bases before he's done.
