What are your predictions on where the NL East will finish? My feelings are Mets, Braves, Nats, Phillies, Marlins in that order. The Mets have the pitching in Pedro, Benson, Glavine, and Zambrano. Soon they will have Trachsel back and I am expecting good things from him.

Hahaha the Mets in first place? Keep dreaming! I'm pretty sure the Braves will win (once again) but they will get the crap beat out of them in the ALDS. I believe if they win this year that it will be the 14th year in a row that they have won the NL East. And they keep winning it with like 85 or so wins. It's ridiculous that no one can beat them.

The Mets still leave a lot to be desired, especialy from the play of Carlos Beltran so far.
The Braves did a great job of keeping up with the Nats while dealing with a slew of injuries that saw three of their starting pitchers go down, along with Chipper Jones.
Smoltz(SP?) has been lights out since returning from his closer role, Andrew Jones is having a MVP season, and the injured players are coming back. Combine that with the freefalling Nats right now and you have a division that will go to the Braves. The Phillies will finish second followed by the Mets, Nats, and Marlins.

Say what you must but I'll still stick with my Mets. The Braves are being led by a bunch of rookies who aren't going to keep this up for long. Whenever you have Pedro Martinez at the top of your rotation, you have got a serious chance at October.
