If you are like me, you follow a sports team that isn't local, for various reasons. Maybe you moved away, or maybe you just like the other team better than the home team. I still can't get going with the home team in my new city. They are good but my loyalties still lie with my old team. I used to listen to the games on the teams website, then they started charging for it. You could pick up the games on one of the local radio stations if they have streaming audio and if the game isn't blacked out. Well, now you can listen to the games you want to listen to through the magic of the internet: www.thegamelive.com/This website is a listing of the radio stations that carry your teams games, some of which are outside the blackout area, so the game will always be on, and it's FREE! Okay, it's not as good as watching it on TV, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper, and I am into "free".

Awesome.
I hate all the teams in my state - except the Avalanche of course. ;D

I really want to thank you for this I live here on Long Island New York. I have been a hockey fan my entire life. Nothing against the local teams here but I grew up listening to the leafs play with my grandfather and dreaming of one day playing for them. I was 16 or 17 before I gave up on that idea. Once you have given your heart to a team that way how can you ever desert them? Then living in the New York area, it has not been easy to follow teams outside of New York. For awhile I even had a local Toronto paper mailed to me. The year before the strike I payed for the extra for the cable sports package just to be able to see them play. This year things are a little tight and just can't afford to do that this year. So your link is for me a real godsend, thank you, thank you, thank you. ;D

I am old enough to have seen Jim Brown play for the Cleveland Browns. I lived and died with the Browns for years, and to a lesser extent, the Indians. The Browns look like they're going to be tough this year, and I want to hear all about it.

Bah they don't have European soccer....
I'll still use it for the Giants and Rangers though. Down here in DC I can't watch any of their games on TV.
