Well, it looks like the A's, pending a miracle, will lose the West to the Angles again this year. *sigh* oh what a sad day. With this and the Packers struggling this aint a great time for my sports viewing pleasure, but at least in the A's, they've shown the tools that could lead to a chapionship next year.

It's all over now except for the screaming.
Such a special year though. The A's began as everybody's pick to finish last in the AL West. Through the first 2 months those predictions were true, the A's struggled heavily and were a season low 15 games below .500 on 31 May. They got some key players back from injury and through the next two months were the best team in all of baseball. They erased a 13 game deficit to the Angles and even held the lead in the West for a day or to. Injuries to the same players have hampered them lately and it's a bit much to overcome.
To still be playing for a spot this late was not expected so the A's can still hold their head high and pick up again next year.
To the end, Go A's Go!!!
