The NFL will have it's first ever regular season game outside the country this week when the 49ers play the Cardnals. The stadium in Mexico city can hold up to 100,000 people and if it fills up we'll see a new attendence record for the NFL. Kinda ironic it would be for two of the worse teams in the league. www.nfl.com/news/story/8895224

We have a new NFL attendance record!!! 103,467 fans in Mexico City showed up to see a matchup of two of the worst teams in the NFL right now. With this success we should see another game their next year. www.nfl.com/gamecenter/recap/NFL_20051002_SF@ARI

Probably only fair since most of Mexico seems to be moving here.
(Whoops! This is the SPORTS board.)

I'm sure putting a team from California and Arizona helped greatly in the fan base down their, course I'm sure they would rather see a Raider or Charger game next year.
Heck, according to the story a great number of fans were wearing Cowboy's jersey. I think we may have a venue next year for whatever crappy team the Boys play.
