Axe the BCS?

USC is undefeated, has won the last 2 national tittles, and has won 29 consecutive games. They are ranked number 1 in the ap poll, but they are not number one in the BCS.

Read that again, they are not number 1 in the BCS. Last year Auburn went undefeated and didn't get a whiff of a chance at a national tittle game. This is beyond rediculous to state that the best teams can be determined soley on statistics. You will always have controversy time and time again.

Unfortunatly I think they'll keep the BCS and sell the tittle of a bowl game to McDonalds, but what do you folks think?

I understand that money talks and that a playoff series with perhaps a single sponsor Vs a bunch of bowl games each sponsored by many different corps, wouldn't make as much cash.
