Hey all,
I was trying to think of a basketball post to write, but then I remembered that a great many here don't like basketball.
So I was wondering if there is anyone else here that enjoys the NBA?

No. I heard something about one player saying he couldn't feed his family on 7 million a year. Is that true? And if so, that's why I don't watch it.

Bleh....maybe Battleborn knows. I'm thinkin Spreewell but I could be wrong. But yea....one of the players did say that. I only like basketball playoffs. I hate regular basketball.

You know, I used to be a huge fan. I just about played every sport, sticking with only one in the end. That was soccer. But after the Bulls went downhill and Jordan left, I lost interest.

Beats me fellas, It sounds like something Spreewell would say though. Perhaps it was right after his choking incident with his coach and the league suspended him for the rest of the year. I'm pretty surprised with the attitude of a lot of these kids in the NBA. They grow up in poor neiborhoods, yet can't seem to get by with those huge paychecks .

Yuck I can't claim innocence on losing interest though. Since Kobe ran Shaq out of town and the Lakers into the ground I've found other things to do.... like watching paint dry and stuff.

My father doesn't like the long shorts they wear now a days. He says it slows you down too much. I get a little sqemish around people wearing John Stockton shorts though

I did a little research, TO said he can't feed his family on 7 million a year (he's unmarried with no kids) and Spreewell said the same thing on 14.6 million a year.
