The Indianapolis Colts are three weeks away from what could be a 16-0 record . They have many obstacles though. First up is the San Diego Chargers who expect to have star RB Tomlinson in the game. After the Chargers they go to Seattle to face a team which has beaten it's last two opponents by a combined 85-3 score. The other thing standing in their way is.... themselves. If the Colts win this week they are assured homefield advantage throughout the playoffs and will most likley rest their starters against the Seahawks. I for one protest the Colts depriving the NFL fans what could be the best game of the year and perhaps a SB preview. Their have been 39 SB teams, but only 1 undefeated team in NFL history. If your going for something special this year, finish out the season strong and win in the playoffs. If you lose a single game, in five years nobody will care what you did in the playoffs.

I think they're going to make it - I think they're going to go undefeated, period, and win the Super Bowl.

I think they're going to make it - I think they're going to go undefeated, period, and win the Super Bowl. They definitly have the talent for it, which is why I'm upset by talk that they'll rest their starters soon. They have a shot to put themselves in the best ever catagory that's what you play for.

Everything rides on the Colts winning homefield advantage throughout.
It has been proven time and again that Peyton Manning cannot win a big game outside of a dome. His performance last year against the Patriots was absolutely terrible. Put Peyton in the snow and he literally freezes up.
Luckily for the Colts this year, the SB is actually being played in a dome. If the Colts win homefield throughout, they will win the SB.
If they don't and they have to play an opponent at their stadium...Peyton will be finished once again.

The Chargers are oddly good this year, compared to their previous years atleast. The majority of their losses have been to good teams like the Steelers, Denver, and Dallas. In every game they lost it was by less then 5 points so they have some chance against the Colts but I wouldnt hold my breath.
Like Battleborn I would be ticked off if the Colts decide to send in their secondary guys in what could be the best Reguler Season Game this year.Luckily for the Seahawks the Colts will be visiting and we will have home field advantage, hopefully the crowd will do their share of damage to the Colts.
And if what FightingFalcon says about the Colts playing poorly in stadiums then we have an even larger advantage.Seattle so far is going on a 9 game winning streak, and they will be playing the 4-9 Titans so I dont think we'll have much trouble.
Will the Colts bench their best players against the Seahawks and risk giving up their purfect season?I guess we'll find out on Christmas Eve.
