I get the impression you are avoiding me.

avoiding? Not me. I caught the first quarter of the game over here. I was surprised how wide open Steve Smith was on the second play. The Bears could've been in it if Rex Grossman had found his range a little earlier in the game, but that's the risk you run starting a inexperienced qb in the playoffs. I read that Deshaun Foster broke his ankle though, so the Panthers are going to need some more mojo than usual to knock off the Seahawks. It should be a interesting SB this year. Either the Panthers or the Seahawks Vs. the Broncos or Steelers. For my money I'll bet on the Panthers going against the Broncos.

Yeah, I agree. I think that, like New England, the only team that can stop the Carolina Panthers is the Carolina Panters. They will be ready for Seattle, and as long as they don't put the ball on the ground like New England did, I think they will prevail. I think Carolina is the best coached team in the playoffs right now.
I DON'T believe Denver is the better team over New England.
I am not worried about Foster - we are ass deep in running backs, and you never know when one of them will break a big one. Remember the playoffs in their Super Bowl year.
It's fun when the home team goes to the Big Game although I would love to see my old team, the Browns, go before I die.

I don't get it - I've watched the past two Carolina games and from what I can tell, they have one player. Steve Smith.
Why did Chicago send Tillman up against Smith alone? The guy got burned on at least four plays. Double cover Smith and Carolina will fold....it's really that easy.

That will be seen this Sunday. If Dolhomme and Smith can continue to tear apart the opposing 'D' than it won't matter how good their RB is. It's going to be cool to watch that Carolina defense try and stop Shaun Alexander though. Seeing Thamos Jones break a few against in the Bears game makes me believe that Alexander will have a pretty good game. My pick of the Panthers hinges on them showing up with the A game. They have a tendency to play up and down football, that's what cost them the NFC South. I think there in a groove now so they'll make the upset.

They certainly are the cinderella this year. Too bad that midnight clock will be ticking in Denver. ;D

Smith is their best threat, but hardly their only one. Ricky Prohl is still a threat at WR and will make those tough catches at the end of games to seal victories.
