I have heard numerous comments concerning the wrath of God, Sodom and Gomorrah since New Orleans had given itself over to paganism. That the wrath of God fell upon New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf coast because of the gambling. HOWEVER,... Millions of people have and will suffer for years to come. A multitude of whom deplored the sinful nature of the French Quarter. Like you I can offer dozens of scriptures describing the judgement of God falling upon the just and unjust alike. Lot's wife was lost because she looked back with longing at the sinful life of Gomorrah. A good woman gone bad. Second, I have heard every Black leader use the "victim" blame game of race in describing the plight of the poor blacks. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have misplaced their religion for the religion of race. Jesse this morning began his statement with the preface: "In spite of dire warnings of Cat 5 hurrican, the Administration ...." QUESTION: Are those religious leaders who double speak of the wrath of God and the need to send aid just as guilty as those Black leaders who cry the victimization blame game for the chaos of hate? It seems that at this time raw emotions, such men and women are only laying the seeds for a future race war. What do you think?
