tell?
I have struggled with this for some time and todays reading was Luke 5 where he healed the paralytic in the presence of the Synagogue priest. Why tell the healed not to tell when so many witnessed it?
Also, a review of the Levitical and Deuteronomy law, the miraculous healing was very costly in sacrifice and ritual. Beside the 8 of the 10 Leapers and the blind man, how many others reacted as we do. That is, accepting the gift but then going on our merry way.

Why did Jesus do miracles?

Tittus: Palm Sunday he was given the applause of the people, a Sunday he delayed as long as possible, because (he knew?) what awaited him in the days to come. Telling folks not to talk about their healings delayed Palm Sunday? But they did talk, didn't they.

The" delay" allowed him to complete his Father's work.
