Watching Orielly tonite, he's made continual references to Child sexual abuse and refered to the perps as 'evil.'
He's also mentioned the common American's reluctance to catogorize things as evil. Why is that? Time and time again we see those on the left that are unwilling to call a persons actions evil and we also see some of them working to try and understand the reasons a person commited these acts.
Why is it that the left will put so much effort into giving these sickos attention rather than calling them evil and allowing for a just punishment?

The lefties hate to call anything evil, because if there is evil in the world there is also good, which takes them back to right and wrong, and we all know they like to live in the gray areas of life so they feel no guilt. Look at Ayn Rand, who on earth actually believes charity is evil? There are just some who want to totally blind themselves to reality in order to allow all their own eccentricities and bad habits to be okay.
I think real evil is not just doing something that hurts another, but enjoying it, like the way Dahmer liked to eat his victims, Gacy liked to bury his under his own house, and the way child molesters enjoy not just the depraved molestation, but the power they have over the child and they even enjoy the fight. It makes my blood boil and skin crawl to even think about these kind of sickos.

It is the absence of good. Evil is not a being, thing, substance or entity. Evil is real, but it is not a real thing. Augustine defines evil as disordered love, disordered will. It is a wrong relationship, a nonconformity between our will and God's will. God did not make evil, we did. A major confusion about evil is to fail to distinguish between moral evil and physical evil, sin and suffering, the evil we actively do and the evil we passively suffer. The origin of sin is human free will. The immediate origin of suffering is nature. God is off the hook for sin, but not for suffering. Christianity takes evil more seriously than most other religions. Even physical evil. Christianity takes the whole physical world more seriously than the typically Oriental or New Age philosophies. Why do bad things happen to good people? There are no good people. We have all sinned and fallen short. The nature of spiritual evil is sin, we then seperate ourselves from God. Spiritual evil originates in free will. God will allow spiritual evil to preserve human free will or human nature. The origin of physical evil is spiritual evil. We suffer because we sin. It appears to me that those who refuse to call evil 'evil' are those who refuse to accept the fact that they are sinners. They refuse to believe that their actions can be considered evil. Possibly they don't believe this because they don't believe in God. For example: Why should an atheist believe in evil if he believes there is no God and no sin. As to trying to figure out why someone committed an evil act, it's laughable. We all fall short. We all do things that are evil. What's to figure? Thank God for Christianity!!! Cataracts |

Great call Cat! we are in an age where we are onceagaing fulfilling these prophesies. It is frightening when we consider what happened to Israel and Judah.

I have a hunch that we never left 'those prophesies'. It's probably a lot more widespread now, but God has a way of taking care of things.
