I couldn't sit through this movie longer than an hour.
I rate it G - G for GAY.

About the only cool scene was where Alexander and his "friends" walk into that room filled with concubines siting on silk persian pillows.
Man what a fantasy room:)

I rented it last night, took it back this morning and wish I hadn't wasted the 4 buck rental.
That is the LAST time I try anything even remotely connected with Oliver Stone.

I personaly liked Platoon.Luckily I didnt go to see Alexander.My World history teacher said it sucked.

This film truly sucked on ice.
I was sick in bed and decided to watch it on one of my 88 movie channels.
What a colossal waste of time.

Count me in on the "think it's crap" list. I made it about as far the big battle scene. Troy was more accurate historically then Alekthander was. What got me was how he was portrayed as being naive and unexposed to combat. Yeah, right, a total load of crap.
You gotta love these "History as Hollywood thinks it happened" films.

Yes skip Alexander and watch Troy/Gladiator.
Hopefully the movie based on Gates of Fire will come out soon, I hope they dont push the gay thing like in Alexander though.
