I recently saw a movie entittled "Walk the Line." The movie covers the early years of Johnny Cash's career.
I've was skeptical when I saw that Joaquin Phoenix played Cash I was skeptical. Phoenix has a normal, somewhat light voice while Cash was always known for his deep voice.
I was pleasently surprised though, as Phoenix's voice was deep and he gave a very convincing performance.
The movie is made better by Reese Witherspoon's acting as June Carter. Cash goes through family troubles and a fierce drug addiction, and is brought out of it thanks to Carter's pushing and support.
Whether your a country music fan or not I recommend this movie for those that like a nice story.
