I did not INTENTIONALLY boycott this because of Cruise's whack-job antics (like I would the Dixie Chicks). However, I must say, I am not enticed to go see it because of him either. I saw the movie promo. Then I remembered him jumping up and down on Oprah's couch. I remembered clips of him talking about Scientology and Katie and the ultrasound machine... I'm just not interested. I can see that I am NOT the only one. Cruise Crash Causes Paramount Panic | Exclusive: Pellicano's Letters From The Pen | Clive's Donuts Pay Off; Denise Brings Bling
Cruise Crash Causes Paramount Panic
The real "failure to launch" of Mission: Impossible III at the box office has caused an immediate problem at Paramount Pictures.
Sources tell me that a catered lunch at the studio, planned ahead on Friday as a celebration, turned into a morbid affair. "Brad Grey and Rob Moore came to it, but no one spoke and eventually everyone left."
Apparently, reality set in faster in the Paramount executive suite than it did even among Cruise nay-sayers. For one thing, weekend numbers—announced as estimates on Sunday—turned out to be slightly lower on Monday by almost a million bucks. Mission's real take was $47.7 million, not $48.6 million.
"You have to understand," says a source, "they sit around and try to decide what sounds better on Sunday. The $48 million sounded closer to 50. The 47 sounds more like 45."
You've got to feel for these people though. Since Monday morning, every department at Paramount has been called on for immediate cost cutting, I'm told. "Budget meetings are going on everywhere," says a source. "Everyone's being asked what they can do, and there's talk of layoffs again."More: www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,194910,00.html

So his antics have finally forced those people to take a look at how real people think...and real people think Cruise is Nuckin' Futz! Hopefully this will make an impact on scientology and the fact that's it's just a cult out to scan the gullible out of their money.

I don't think anything hurt him as much as the eating placenta thing. He also really turned women off w/his views on child birth. I'd like to see him pass a five pound kidney stone w/out drugs or making any noise. He has even managed to tick off Brooke Sheilds by trying to condemn medication for depression, she suffered from post partem. He is beginning to sound like a mysoganist and a masocist.

No, he sounds like the brain washed mouthpiece for a cult. Silent Childbirth, how moronic is that?

I seriously doubt any of you all would be moronic enuf to tell your wife to shut up while she's giving birth, I know if my husband had in as much pain as I was, I probably would have damn near killed him.
