...is wicked awesome! it's the first of the series to not be set in the second great war gets insanely intense, on one mission you're in a ghillie suit hiding w/ the enemy searching within feet of you, at one point i managed to burn through 500 rounds in under 4 min. My ratio of "kills" to ammunition used has plummeted with out my trusty Garand though =/ But what i can't get over is that there are men who have done this type of stuff for real. 200 to 6 odds and what not. Anyway, everyone with a 360 or PS3 NEEDS this game, and anyone w/o a console needs to get a console and the game. =D full auto = insane firefights EDIT: on a mission set in Prypiat, Ukraine, near Chernobyl, you go through the buildings in the first two pictures and to the ferris wheel in the third. that kind of city just sitting there, damned near abandoned, really surprised me, i figured they'd created it for the game. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/0/0c/DK_Energetik_Palace_of_Culture_-_Pripyat_-.jpgupload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d9/Prypiat_Pool.jpgupload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/5b/Pripyat01.jpg

I went to google earth and found the very buildings where the photos in your links were taken. Here is the image. You can see where the pics in YOUR links were taken. The pic in the third link was taken inside the building under the marker labeled #2. The wheel is also visible.

That little farm-house (seen out the window in your third link) or whatever it is is visible between the second pic tac and the wheel.
I have COD IV.
I was waiting until I finished HALO-3 to start it.
I still have a chapter and a half to do on HALO first.

I heard you get to be a gunner on a Spooky gunship, which is my all time favorite plane in the entire world. I want to buy an Xbox 360 now just for that

I was up to the last chapter in HALO-3 and somehow my XBox deleted my game.
My daughter may have messed it up; who knows, maybe I did.
Anyway, I decided NOT to go back to the start and do it all over again.
Screw it.
I decided to plug in COD-4 instead.
Man, I've gotta say, COD-4 IS WAY MORE FUN THAN HALO-3 was and HALO-3 was great.
I started playing COD4 and the next thing I knew I had to get up and go pee. Three and a half hours had elapsed.
I just finished the part where the nuke goes off. LOL Was that a shit-hot scene or what?
One of my favorite parts was being the gunner in the AC-130. Those scenes LITERALLY LOOKED AND SOUNDED exactly like those videos I have seen of real combat in Afghanistan.
This game is righteous. No shit.
Of course, it doesn't hurt that I am playing it on a 60 inch Pioneer HDTV. Bwahahahahahaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!

I played COD last night until I was bleary-eyed.
I got to the point where you scale down into the missile silos after watching the dual launch.
That looks so fucking awesome.
The farther I get into this game the more I like it.
The games that are coming out are getting better and better. Just when you think gaming has reached its peak, they come out with a game like this that is even better.
I thought Gears Of War was awesome, but I like this one better than that.

Now I'm pissed off.
I finished the game.
I thought I was something like half way through and the credits started rolling!
What the fuck is up with that?
Look, I know that a game this awesome must take a HUGE AMOUNT of programming, but still.
I could have easily finished the game in one day if I had wanted to.
That seems a bit cheap to me. For $60, we ought to get more than eight or nine hours of play time.
I think I will play it again on the hardest setting. I may do some of the arcade stuff.
Something this cool should last longer than it does.
