1 container of Middle Eastern thick yogurt. Item can be obtained in the Middle Eastern stores. 2. Feta cheese. Best feta cheese can be found also in the Middle Eastern stores. 3. Small onion 4. Table spoon of olive oil 5. Tea spoon of lemon juice 6. medium cucumber 7. 4 or 5 mashed garlic cloves 8. Fine chopped parsley 9. Garlic powder
In the bowl mash feta until creamy. Add fine chopped onion, mashed garlic in garlic powder, olive oil, and lemon juice. Slowly mix in thick yogurt. Peal and finely slice cucumber and add it to the mixture. Then add finely chopped parsley. Mix together and place the bowl for one day into refrigerator.
Serve with Gyros or just with French bread and black olives.

When I was stationed in Nuernberg, Germany, we use to go to Greek restaurant near where I worked. We got to know the family. We love the greek food and wine. I tell you Greek wine was better than French. I wish they sold that wine in the US, Immiglikos red.
