Word has it that HE now wants to dictate the ROE, etc for US troops that go to the border.
What a POS

Well his handlers (the drug lords) want to make sure our troops don't interfere with their operations. The already get intell from the border patrol but getting intell from the military is a whole other matter.

HAHAHAHA, I am sure he has OUR best interests at heart....
Even my husband, who hates the news and never follows politics started laughing about what Fox' real concerns were. How come Mexicans aren't fed up w/that loser yet?

He'll stay in office as long as the drug lords let him. Then they'll replace him.

Y'know, one of the complaints of the border patrol is that they lose the IA's in the scrub. NVG's, even the thermals lose them (And, from seeing the area on the TV special, Yeah, it probably WOULD take heavier-duty that 3xAA Batteries can provide).
Now, YES, they could bulldoze out a 400yd (Think FPL) strip 1700 miles long, but - as an alternative (& one HELL of a deterent) - what about just converting that entire strip into a temporary (napalm only) impact area for training?

This is freakin' hilarious. I am called "scary," "angry," and "unrealistic" for my totally lawful, achievable and righteous plan which really amounts to nothing more than enforcing the laws we already have. Anyone who disagrees with me is basically saying, "Fuck the law!" Now, let's see what the reaction to THIS IS! Napalm? LOL I like your belt-loaded circus cannon idea better. You know why Nape sticks right? Napalm is basically jet fuel cut with laundry detergent. That soap works wonders in preventing the victim from wiping it off (they just spread it around). I could just see the Coyotes sacrificing a truck load of Mexican children to a nape attack. They'd send a zillion photos to the NYT and CNN. That shit wouldn't last a day.

I want to know why the hell we don't build a big double fence with a nice anti vehicle ditch on the mexican side. It won't put a complete stop to illegals but it will put a serious dent in their numbers and the drug trade. Can some PLEASE tell me WTF is wrong with this? I'm really disgusted with our nations "leadership" over this, more than anything else.

I'm really disgusted with our nations "leadership" over this, more than anything else. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that except that I think the ENTIRE thing (including the ditch) will have to be on our side of the border. That's ok. If someone plans on ramming, breaching or otherwise messing with it, they will be doing it on OUR SOIL and subject to OUR laws and OUR punishments. In fact, they're planning on building it right now (do a google on minuteman fence). The only thing is: We (private investors) are gonna have to pay for it and it's about $150 a linear foot. I personally think that is too much of a good deal and the real price will prove to be higher, but who in this country couldn't afford $12.50 for an INCH of it? If everyone in this country bought a single inch of this fence, we could very nearly cover BOTH our northern and southern borders. Volunteers would have to erect it too, but that is something I might very well be inclined to go do (for a month or two anyway). We'll know a lot more by Labor Day. The winter months are one damn fine time to be down in that area of the country!

Oh, most assuredly it should all be on US soil, leave a couple of yards on the other side so if someone tampers with it, the crime is done in the USofA. I just don't understand why anyone, who is honest, would be against this.
