You are what you think.
You are NOT at the mercy of a financial situation that is THRUST upon you.
You are so intimately connected with the physical events surrounding your financial experience that you often cannot distinguish between the material occurrences in your life and the thoughts, beliefs and ideas that gave those occurrences birth.
You constantly talk to yourself. Most people aren't nearly as acquainted with what they THINK as they THINK they are.
The ideas that constantly rummage through your brain act like an ongoing hypnosis. You constantly reinforce some ideas while avoiding others.
Some people, like Falcon, tell themselves that being middle class is OK. They tell themselves that everything will be fine as long as they follow Suze Ormon's advice (save in their 401K) and Andre Agassi's advice (image is everything).
If however, they dumped those obviously bogus ideas and adopted a different set of ideas, like the ones I am suggesting, they would automatically treat the subject of money very differently and their lives would turn out MUCH differently.
Can you see how someone like Rush Limbaugh (ideas of strong individualism, ability and wealth creation) turns out much differently than someone who listens to what Jesse Jackson is telling them (depend on Uncle Sugar - after all, you're owed and you're unable to do anything on your own anyway - the deck is stacked against you)?
It's often much easier to see how OTHER PEOPLES' ideas have affected their lives than it is to see how YOUR IDEAS have affected your own life.
I repeat my third line:
You are so intimately connected with the physical events surrounding your financial experience that you often cannot distinguish between the material occurrences in your life and the thoughts, beliefs and ideas that gave those occurrences birth.
If you want to change your financial situation (or create a great one for the future), you must start with YOURSELF.
Many people spend all kinds of money buying one sure fire money-making "system" after another looking for one that works.
I am telling you that NO SYSTEM will work on its own. EVERY SYSTEM will work if YOU WORK IT.
However, the most important place to start is in your own mind. Moreover, it's FREE! The very best investment you can make at this point is absolutely FREE.
You must reprogram the ideas of limitation OUT OF YOUR MIND. You must rewire your brain or all the money you spend on "systems" will be wasted. It isn't the system that works, it's YOU.
You must believe what I am telling you. Here are some excellent ideas to believe - they're all true!
1) Financial abundance is a GREAT THING to have
2) You can achieve TRUE financial wealth
3) It's no harder to achieve wealth than it is to achieve poverty
4) I have always been happier when I had money than when I had NONE
5) You are fully capable of creating financial abundance for yourself and your family
6) There is nothing wrong with having an abundance of money
7) There is no need for you to work until the day you die.
If you catch yourself reminding yourself of why financial mediocrity is ok (or preordained), you must STOP in your tracks and insert one of MY IDEAS in its place.
It takes time and effort, but it is absolutely possible and it is absolutely realistic to believe what I am telling you.
AGAIN: You are NOT at the mercy of a financial situation that is THRUST upon you.
