Isn't that better than that lame ass stock header?
There's a bunch of shit you can add at the top and bottom of the page, from RSS feeds to links to more graphics.

You often had an image up at the HC. I'd like to be able to add images for, time to time (I remember your 9/11 imag, for example).

An RSS feed is a web page scraper that takes headlines off of a page and displays it in a newsreader or in this case on another page.
For example, if you want to (say) show all the new posts from the THC newsboard, I could work up the code for it and you could display it either in the header or footer of the page or all the pages.
When someone clicked on the post it would take them there.
Same with the images. It's just a matter of writing the code to display them, just like the graphics.
