I vote for insane.
An extra mag is cheaper and won't cut you if you forget the sheath.

I don't get it, what is the point of having a bayonet on a pistol? Thrusting or sliceing with the handle would be ackward and I can't imagine any scenario where that would be useful.

it's more of a show piece i reckon. Plus, if i was on the wrong end of it i know it would scare the piss outta me no matter how impractical it is because you know you're dealing with a crazy motherfucker who has a bayonet on a pistol. Psychological warfare win.

Psych win?
Nah, I'd know I'm dealing with a superficial dork too dumb to realize the impracticallity of his little add on. It'd make me feel better IMO.

Cute. But useless. When it comes to pistols, I look at it from a concealed carry point of view. I am sure this would look interesting in some Hollywood movie. But, in the real world, it would be more trouble than it's worth.
As for intimidation, if the big ass manhole that is the business end of a .45 doesn't intimidate somebody, the little Swiss army knife sure as hell isn't.

well, no matter what you think of it, it's obviously not meant to be used. By the look of it, I'm certain the damn thing would break with any vigorous use. Just a show piece.

might balance out extended mags too, like the big honkin' 33rd-er i've got w/ muh glock. ;D But having more weight in the back end is a lot less noticeable than it is on the business end.
