Yep, that headline is correct. The worst team in baseball, the Washington Nationals have won 8 straight games. I was at win number 6 in a row this past Friday as the Nats battled back from a horrible 2 inning against the Diamondbacks where they gave up 5 runs off of 3 homers and ultimately won a close game, 7-6.
Over the weekend they took the other two games against the D-backs to go along with previous wins against the Marlins and Brewers. Yeah, not that impressive considering, especially if you look at their record and see they are still a whopping 32 games under .500, but hey, in this town after the start they had this is a very nice turn around.
