Hey Guys. I had hoped to go on a road trip to New Hampshire yesterday to do some nice hiking while I sit in limbo between commands, but due to my awesome pre-planning I noticed that through New Jersey and pretty deep into Conn. that the skies were overcast the whole way. Since my trip involved spending a considerable amount of time outdoors and I had had to deal with horrendous traffic I decided to give a friend a call and ask her to check the weather forcast for New Hampshire the next day before I continued. It looked like it was going to be a lousy day and I was prepared to pack up and head back the 300 miles to DC in defeat when she looked up a few things about Hartford. She recommended the art museum which is supposed to be the US' oldest public arts museum and after some back and forth on the phone I decided she was right and I should head up to at least see a few things and somewhat salvage the trip. While at the museum I soon found that my digital camera was about on a dead battery so I didn't get to take many pics, my awesome pre-planning showing itself again. Before it completely died though I got one pretty good pic of a renaissance(sp?) painting tittled something like the "wise man look apon the Savior" depicting Mary raising a blanket to reveal the recently born Jesus to what appears to be two of the wise man and possible the third, although it looks like another woman to me. Anyway, with mike's return I thought he and the rest of you would like this. Enjoy.
