One day after a shootout between the Cavs and Nuggests that noticably appeared to be a one on one matchup at times between Lebron James and Carmelo Anthony ending in a one point victory for Denver, the Nuggests went to DC to play the Wizards who are playing as a shell of a team after unloading multiple key players from their team in anticipation of a rebuilding year.
Basically they are playing with scrubs right now, but they played well and beat the T-Wolves recently and tonite with a very impressive 4th QTR and 50 points from the bench the team did what the best player on the league couldn't, they beat the Nuggests and did so soundly.
Good victory for the Wizards. Hopefully this continues tonite against the Raptors.
