My new acquisition...'cause everybody needs a wheelgun. Colt Trooper .357 Magnum, circa 1960. I added the period stags to dress it up A little wear but not bad for a 50 year old shooter. Hell, it's a Colt. It'll probably shoot forever.

Checked the SN.
It was made in 1962, not quite 50 years old but close enough for government work.

Very nice piece 101. Lots of advantages to a revolver vs an autoloader, especially reliability. She should easily last another 50.
What do you think, cop's gun?

Most likely, from the holster/carry wear. That or private security. That was Colt's primary market for this series. Can't wait to see how she shoots. (No doubt better than I do) She should be good for a field carry piece for hinking or hog hunting.
