Does it occur to anyone that in the past, celebrities were not known to the public other than the movies or television shows they starred in or the songs they sung or the instruments they played.
People were more involved in everyday life when they knew very little about celebs. People were more concerned with current events, politics, history, and the world when they knew very little about celebs.
Am I the only one who understands this? Am I the only one who doesn't give a rat's ass about what celeb is banging another celeb, what celeb is pregnant, what celeb is out of the closet, what celebs are believed to be in the closet, or what celeb is getting a divorce? Am I the only one who doesn't care about celebs and their bullshit lives?

Well, there were always the fan mags and tabloids. The big difference is now they are electronic.
I have always been of the opinion that whatever (name your celeb) is doing is none of my affair.
Who really gives a damn since whatever they do doesn't affect my life one iota.
As long as they keep out of my business, I'll stay out of theirs.

Has the culture been so saturated by celebrity news and the tabloidization of the mainstream media that politicians have come to be judged more in terms of "celebrity", than in terms of leadership and of the quality of their leadership? Enjoy your day, Arethusa
