This casserole recipe we use to do on the campouts. If you have a good dutch owen, use it.
Flour mix - take a plastic bag (ziplog) and pour flour in. Add 1 Tbs red paprika, garlic powder, season salt, and pepper. Mix together.
Chicken breast or legs frozen
Onions Carrots (baby carrots is the best) Celery (optional) Mushrooms (optional) Potatoes Oil.
Taken frozen chicken and places in the four mix and shake until chicken is covered with flour mixture. Heat oil in the dutch owen and quickly fry chicken until brown. Then take it out and place it on the side. Fry onions with mushrooms until golden brown add carrots and cut celery, cook for about 20 minutes. The add sliced potatoes and mix with carrots and celery. On the top of the mixture place chicken. Place dutch owen in to the owen for about 45 minutes. Cook at 400 degrees. When done remove and serve.
