I can't skate but I do love Philadelphia Flyers hockey!
This morning I was shopping at the local Acme and who did I see? I saw none other than Flyers great and Broad Street Bully Bill Barber! He walked right past me. Most of the original Broad Street Bullies still live in South Jersey.
I don't usually gush over pro athletes but the Broad Street Bullies are different. They always loved South Jersey and appreciated the working-class people here because they all came from working-class homes and working-class upbringings. They also never hesitated to give back to the communities that they lived in and hung around in.
