I say not in the sense where all government offices close and all government employees get a paid day off.
I think it should be treated just like December 7th.

I'd hate to see it turned into a day where the stores hold big sales and car dealers dress up like Uncle Sam.

I think it is fitting in with Memorial day along with 12/7 and 4/19.

While I concur with you and the others (So far anyway) I'm of the opinion that we may well be out numbered and there will come a time when it is a Federal Holiday. F

This should be a day to remember and not to be used as flash point for business. That would be disrespect. As everybody knows, not everybody will think the same way.

It should be a day of rememberence, but make it a holiday and sooner or later you get what you don't want, people treating it as a day off, a la Memorial Day.
