I kind of like "Putting on the Ritz". We used to walk around singing that at work when they had us cleaning up because some big shot was comming. IMHO....... THIS is the worst song of the 80s, and possibly the worst song EVER! Paul Anka...... Having My Baby.

***** I kind of liked de Burgh's "Lady in Red" and Starship's "We Built This City", though I know people who loathed them both. For me, a song has to be vastly overplayed and really annoying to qualify as a "worst". And the all time winner in that department, IMO, is "Feelings". And not because I've occasionally been accused of not having any. ;D Arethusa

The worst two in my estimation are. “I’ve had the time of my life” (Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes) Because it was a part of such an inane movie. And “We Are The World” (USA for Africa.) Because it was so pretentious and accomplished nothing it was advertised to address.
