Glenn Peoples is to debate Stephen Law on this weeks upcoming Unbelievable podcast. They are to discuss Stephen's "Evil God" challenge. Stephen Law is hot off his debate with William Lane Craig where he presented his "Evil God" challenge. I've listened to the debate several times now. I think Glenn has a plethora of problems to raise with Stephen and his "Evil God" challenge. I think WLC remarked on it in the after discussion. The "Evil God" challenge fails on the merits. Law argues "Evil God" is an agreed absurd notion, and since the cosmological argument does not address God's nature to be either good or evil, and since we can agree the notion of an "Evil God" is absurd, it follows the notion of a benevolent God must be equally absurd. It should be very interesting to hear how Glenn decides to deal with Stephen's "Evil God" challenge.
