Seema Mustafa is a senior journalist and columnist known for her progressive and leftist views on national and international issues. Her interview was published by Viewpoint, a secular Pakistani magazine. In the interview, Ms. Mustafa argued that Islamic fundamentalist forces are growing in some Islamic countries because the secular leaders have tried to implement secularism by force rather than by persuasion.
