www.blackfive.net/main/2005/06/rocket_attack_o.htmlBLACKFIVE: Rocket Attack Video - PX in Iraq Rocket Attack Video - PX in Iraq Here is some B-roll of security cameras inside a PX during a rocket attack. A rocket attack hit close to the Camp Liberty PX. Inside surveillance video captures patron reactions from three different camera angles. Video by American Forces Network Iraq. Notice how the soldiers and civilians react. They are under control and protecting one another. Several soldiers rushed back into the PX, grabbed duct tape, t-shirts, bandages and peroxide to treat the wounded outside. There's a more polished version of this video, but it's about how the PX was back in business the next day. One soldier was killed about 30 feet away from the PX. Update: Edited the post to include the description. Here is the polished version with interviews with some of the soldiers and PX employees.

Your welcome, that's why I joined to share news and views. When I watched it, I think it re-enforced something intuitive not sure what. My view the Islamo-fascists have already lost Iraq forever was re-enforced by watching it. Perhaps it was seeing the professionalism of our young men under fire, it swelled the emotions and makes it hard for me to analyze. What says your trained eye, anything pop out at you?

Your welcome, that's why I joined to share news and views. When I watched it, I think it re-enforced something intuitive not sure what. My view the Islamo-fascists have already lost Iraq forever was re-enforced by watching it. Perhaps it was seeing the professionalism of our young men under fire, it swelled the emotions and makes it hard for me to analyze. What says your trained eye, anything pop out at you? I know the feeling of pride. I had to opportunity to hear the US ambassador who was head of mission in Kenya the day of the bomb blast there. speak on her experience. This is part of her testimony at the trial She told us about details - secretaries who had brought their notepads and immediately began to work with each other locating members of their and other offices until they knew who was there - and where they were. The emergency training put to good use while personal triaged themselves. The immediate establishment of an operations center in the hotel she mentioned. Immediate contact with the Ops Center. By the book. No about heroics in the Jihad sense but about heroics in the sense you and I respect. Those bad guys have lost because their goal is to spread terror. And they failed. Not only these those folks fail to panic, but they immediately went to assist others who had been hurt. They took cover in a calm fashion, then organized themselves to assist. What I saw from the one camera angle - the exit towards the door almost immediately. Not staying low in a secure area but going into the unknown. Calmly. Assuredly. Into the crisis. The bad guys just don't get it.

That is an emotional story, thanks for posting that little tid bit. You know sometimes I think I understand our enemy's better than I understand anti-war protesters and assorted left wing morons
