I guess we could discuss it when someone applies for and is denied a permit to kill a Bible.

Kind of a catch-22 here.
On the one hand, I could argue that they have religious freedom just like everyone else. As such, and because eagles are no longer considered endangered nor other people being harmed, they should be allowed to kill 2 of them.
The opposing argument would be that the government, by allowing this exception to the law, is in fact providing support to an established religion which is contrary to the constitution.

While the eagles are no longer endangered, they are still listed as threatened.
You would think the Indians would support their protection.
