"Roger Clemens was acquitted Monday on all charges that he obstructed and lied to Congress by denying he used performance-enhancing drugs to extend his long career as one of the greatest and most-decorated pitchers in baseball history." www.breitbart.com/system/wire/D9VFR4MG1**** I questioned from the beginning why Congress involved itself in this issue. The verdict arguably turned on Andy Pettitte's statement that there was a 50-50 chance he'd mis-heard Clemens saying he was using performance enhancing drugs. It was all downhill from there, given the repetitive hammering at McNamee's credibility. I would hope Congress will leave it to MLB to deal with this mess from here on out and focus its energies on resolving major issues impacting the population at large. Like joblessness in a moribund economy, for instance. Arethusa
