The story is no longer availabe Rex. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Akbar the sheethead accused of rolling grenades into the tent with some of his squadmates in it?
I wonder if the Army has the balls anymore to hang a murderer.

( Oh, wait...never mind). Yeah Sailor, that's the one. Two fucking years since the traitor rolled the grenades and he's still not been brought to justice. Now they are trying to suppress his diaries and other items that might incite his jurors against him, which was the gist of the article.

I'll betcha that not only will they try to get the diaries and autopsy photos supressed, his defense fucks will attempt to supress the fact that he was even on that side of the planet at all.
I never pulled my 9/11 reactivation request. I wonder if I could get reactivated long enough to serve on this bastard's Court Board? If no one has changed the regs, an enlisted tried in a General Court Martial can have enlisteds as part of the Board.
An empty threat and wish. 6 months after I put in that reactivation request I got my 30 year "So long you old fuck" letter, the one that says I'm no longer in the Fleet Reserve but on the "Retired" list.
Damn it!

Hanging is too good for this bastard. He should be drawn and quartered in my opinion.

many of the Leftist (ESB, Leppy, Lakota, etc. ) all claimed that this was evidence that the soldiers did not want this war.
I recall watching the news and told my wife that it had to be a fragging. I don't ever recall of hearing of a death penalty for any fragging during my brief time in Vietnam. Do any of you know of execution for a fragging since Vietnam?

I don't think there were any death penalty cases. Probably some long terms in Leavenworth, though.

But Rex, that doesn't mean no Death sentences were handed down, the military does still maintain a Death Row at Ft Leavenworth, last I heard it was well populated. But the military hasn't executed ANYONE in my memory.

From the article:
>the lawyers said. "He was a failure as a soldier and NCO," said Major Brookhart, using an abbreviation for noncommissioned officer. "He couldn't perform the most basic tasks.">
Oh horseshit! The man is a fucking E-5, Sergeant, and supposed to have been screened by his chain of command.
Rex, correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't he had to have SOMETHING on the ball or he'd still be a fucking PVT or PFC?
E-1 to E-5 in only 5 years does not indicate to me that "He couldn't perform the most basic tasks" as that JAGOFF claims.
Or is the Army even more fucked up than the Navy?

It's always been pretty fucked up. May he got a "social promotion" and when he couldn't perform his duties they didn't want to bust him because his self-esteem would suffer. This bullshit is indicative of what happens when you try to do "PC" in the military. Try him and fry him.
