We must grant to these terrorists the right to hate us, the right to desecrate our symbols, the right to plot to kill us and cut our throats while we beg for mercy from Allah. You and I may disagree, may even get huffy with one another, but I think you are one of the smart ones who realizes that the treat from Jihadist is greater than anyone wants to admit. Hey, 101, have you read Sword of the Prophet yet? If not, read it on weekends, during the day. Otherwise, you will be so damn mad you will not sleep.

I'm working on "Jihad in America" at the moment. Also full of tidbits certain to make ones blood boil.

I don't know that I can handle more than one book on how militant Muslims want to take over America, convert or kill us. What keeps ringing in my head is "beware of false prophets."

I am no expert on this religion, but have spent many hours searching answers to the questions the statements urban legends have raised.
For example, no where in the Qur'an does it say to kill the infidel, Christian, or Jew. However, there are 8 verses that call Christians and Jews pagans. There are three verses that say that pagans who refuse to believe should be "slayed".
The Hadit does offer a handful of verses (exposes) on "destroying" the unbeliever. Two verses that demand that every edict from the Iman must be obeyed. Of the five (Tenats) Pillars of Islam, sometimes divided into seven Pillars, none speak of the Holy War (Jihad). However, the "sixth Tenat" written by the original Sunnis does introduce all the aspects of Holy War that we in the West have come to fear. With the exception of The Sunnis and a few more radical elements, the Sixth Tenat is denounced by most Muslims.
Question: I would like to learn more about the Qur'an and Islam, but this is purely from a historian perspective. I am a Christian and have been persecuted for that faith here, in Korea, and in the Middle East (as a civilian working with BBI in Israel in 1985). However, that statement is only offered as a “Paulian” a.k.a. 2 Corn 11:16-33 statement proof of my perspective. Would any of you like to discuss the Qur'an and Islam?
