The example of the Iraqi police illustrates this best. There seems to be something wrong with my computer cause I can't open your link. I didn't think Mosul was one of the hot spots in Iraq? I was aware that attacks happend infrequently over there but the high Kurd population has been pretty doscle.

Mosul is a diverse city with a large Sunni faction for them to blend in with.
