I just sent Leyland an email telling him to send back to Detroit and have someone FedEx the Tiger bats.
Verlander was sure off his game.
I think the long time off hurt.

Maybe, maybe not. Verlander and Fister are supposed to be the best two on the Tigers Rotation, and they faced the bottum two of the Giants in Bumgardner and Zito. Ouch, looks like the G-men are going to take it. Then again my predictions haven't been all that solid this post season.  |

After dropping all 3 of the first games the Tigers run the risk of getting skunked 4 for 4.
I just talked with Mom and to say she's disappointed in the Tiggers would be an understatement.

Tough break but how 'bout them Giants?
Until they beat the Rangers a few years ago they hadn't brought home a world series to San Fran since they left New York a half century ago. Now they have two in the span of the last three years. Very impressive.
Also, kudos to Manager Bruce Bochy, I remember him coaching the Padres when I lived in San Diego and thinking he was a bust as a manager then. What a turn around.
