Well whatta ya know, the tide is turning. Actually it has been but the MSM is so opposed to telling the truth for fear of not selling their news to the masses. Oh well, time will tell and the press will gloss over the fact that they are, for the most part, full of shit. www.strategypage.com/qnd/iraq/articles/20060119.aspx

Good article Sarge.
The MSM has a vested interest in following the Democrat "we can't win" line. Nothing like this will ever find its way into the New York Times, the Washington Pravda or the Alphabet soup networks.
"Oh well, time will tell and the press will gloss over the fact that they are, for the most part, full of shit."
Couldn't have said it better.
Take care shipmate.

I love reading about Al Qaeda and Taliban types getting wasted. And I don't mean drunk.

Has anyone else noticed that the news from Iraq is not as wall to wall as it used to be? That it seems to have dropped right off the MSM's radar screen to a certain degree, or is it just me?

Well I can tell you that NBC ran a big story on the evening news about rap music in church instead of, like, something anyone would give a crap about.

If it's not "17 Marines killed by IED" they could give a shit.

It's gotta have the "dan Rathers" out there really bummed out. No massive IEDs killing large numbers of innocents. And everbody knows it's just a quagmire and there is absolute lawlessness EVERYWHERE! Yesterday the Communist News Network ran some happy story about one of the victims of Katrina from NOLA. It's a good thing I like the people on the other end of the building, I really wanted to shoot the TV. Then there's the constant Challanger anniversary coverage.
"We were soldiers" is on AFN (the Air Force Network, it's full of crap too...)! Sweet!

Well they'll probably be all over tonight since ABC's Bob Woodruff and his cameraman were just seriously wounded by an IED.
At least NYTimes ran a big cover story last week about the horrific injuries sustained by troops from IEDs and how they differ from the booby traps and land mines of Vietnam.

CNN is running the Woodruff story like they were targetted. "TV CREW ATTACKED!" That kind of crap. No mention of them being in a military convoy. Who needs Syrup of Ipecap when you CNN to induce vomitting...
