This is where our national leaders need to come out and roundly comdemn these actions.
It'll help rally the crowds in Egypt and force Mursi to recall his new powers.
But, I'm guessing it'll be a fat chance of that happening.

We shall see. I am encouraged by the amount of support secular leaders received, roughly half the vote, in the recent election. Moves like this though, will marginalize their opposition and make it easier to the muslim brotherhood to tilt future elections and governments in their favor. A signal should be sent by our nation that these actions are not seen as acceptable. It should also be addressed at the UN to give the world body a chance to condemn the act on their own. From there the political pressure will be too great for the brotherhood. Either Mursi will relent and the recind his powers, or the brotherhood will overreach prompting action from the populoace, and most important, the Egyptian military. -DD

Clinton and Obama were very encouraged. However, Morsi took advatage of this plus other things declare himself more less "New Pharao" . At the same time Mosi attacked cease fire. Now Obama and Clinton are silent, possibly trying to figure what is going on. This is not over by any means. It is possible that cease fire between HAMAS and Israel will not last long, or we amy see another revolution in Egypt and this time the army may step in.
