Well - from what I've read - it's not a "forcefield" in the literal sense. Rather - it's a high speed tiny object(s) that impacts the threat directly to destroy it. There's nothing new about the concept. But apparently new technologies enable the kill mechanism to engage the target with "minimal collateral" among friendlies.

Yea, obviously it's not a real force field the way that we think of it.
The way that the video briefly explained it is that it uses top secret technology to shoot a projectile at the RPG and explode it. Kinda like what the Abrams does but even better.

Our IT "Department" is run by a retarded monkey. We are constantly having self inflicted IT issues. It got to the point where the Gen'l threatened to kick them off the post if they didn't get their shit together. (They belong to CENTCOM and are not part of our task force).
