Baseball Realignment - Astros to the AL

Did anyone else hear about this?

I just stumbled across it today reading the A's report since spring training will be coming up. Turns out the Astros are moving from the NL Central to the AL West, so the A's have more competition.

Though the Astros aren't expected to compete much.

Still, what a change.

I think in the long run this makes sense, 15 teams per league and all. I just always kinda liked that rivalry between the Astros and teams like the Cards, Brewers, and Reds. Now having them as rivals for the Angels, A's, and Rangers? Just seems weird.

It'll pass though, and Minute Maid park in Houston is a great place to play some divisional games in the year.
