Well, if some fella was to break into a bank and stay there for a few minutes does that mean we have to buy the fella stock in the bank? I know this isn't easy for you, but try to give it your best college effort. I will try to keep it simple for you. There are different kinds of law, with me so far? One kind of law is known as Moral law, think theft, murder, etc. Another kind of law is known as Administrative law. Think governmental regulations, like code enforcement. Stuff like how high to build the fence around the pool in the backyard. Immigration laws happen to be Administrative laws. They are not Moral laws. Labeling 11 million souls who by and large are honest hard working people only doing what they must to provide for themselves and their families as criminals is a kind of ignorance. Ignorance of the difference between Administrative law, and Moral law. See now that wasn't too hard, was it?

What's the alternative? Mass deportation? It'll never happen, let's concede a point that will have to be conceded anyway and focus on setting up the law to prevent this situation from reoccurring, or getting worse. -DD As if those were our only two choices. It's naive to think that if legalization comes first, the rest will ever happen. Sorry, DD. I've seen this before. Fair point and I misunderstood. I agree, it makes no sense to do one first with the hope the other will come. We need to push for both now precisely because they want legalization, if we give up on that first we have given up on our leverage to bring them to the table. -DD
