For me, it's Reagan -- BY FAR!
Lincoln's my second favorite.

George Washington. The Father our Nation. The Hero of our Revolution. Without a doubt one of our best -- if not the best. But as far as favorites go, Reagan is practically a God in my book.

Hey Chris, can you expand on that? This should make for an interesting discussion! Later. Aye, but where shall I begin? I will first say that the underlying problems subverting our Nation are: 1) APATHY and 2) FEAR. Such problems can only be corrected through massive structural changes in the Nation.

Such problems can only be corrected through massive structural changes in the Nation. I can't agree with that, Chris. Reagan's rise to the Presidency facilitated millions of young Americans into US politics. He began a revolution that caused many Americans to participate and become interested in the political system. And his courage, leadership, and bold talk did enough in terms of allaying fear. Later.

Yes, he made some headway - but a canoe in a virulent storm cannot by itself overcome the waves crashing around it. I do not intend to imply that his actions harmed the Nation - I only mean that his actions did little to change the apparent Fate our beloved United States. Our Nation is at grave risk.

Well, our nation is at grave risk. One of the main problems is we don't have the necessary leaders in the nation to stave off the problems I expect this nation to experience in the next few years. Because of fear and apathy, our Nation lacks courage and commitment. So true; so when are you going to write a book, Chris? Later.

I put Lincoln first in this one. Ole Geoge W. second Lincoln was brilliant, as was Washington. As I said, they are THE two best Presidents ever. But again, as far as favorites go, Reagan is the man. Take care, bb.

So true; so when are you going to write a book, Chris? Later. Change does not come through print or the repitition of words and lines, but by action and boldness. Our countrymen will sit idle, and they may congratulate one another on their etiquette and their vocabulary, but change does not come by irresolution and inaction. When the blast of Fate blows in our ears, what good will be our words?

I'll go with JFK.
There was a potential for greatness there that was never realized.
