You are a very lucky man to have such close friends that they are still in your life. May God grant you peace and joyous memories. Your mom looks quit spry for 77. That old guy does look like he can bite a few butts if needed.

Don't tell the coasties that many of the most beautiful women are corn fed country girls. The next thing you know they'd be out here tak'n y'all away. I recall one trip in Philly. One of the most stunningly beautiful women I'd ever seen was working behind the desk at the hotel. That was until she opened her mouth and that thick "Fran Drescher" accent sprang forth. YECH! Beauty is only skin (mouth) deep. Tell your husband that he is a very lucky man. Pst. you don't look old enough to have sons in this war. Here is my wife and I for her 51st birthday last year. Not the best pic, but the it is the most recent on my computer

Titus, Thank you......... More men should tell my husband that, I think...it doesn't exactly work when I do it. lol! Hello? Dear... by rights I should still have that Queens accent my poor teachers tried to break me of. Poor long suffering things. Sadly, it's long gone and I miss it, along with those unique NYers I feel very much at home with. You two make a beautiful couple, you look very happy together. ;D

Thank you all for your condolences. Dave and I weren't real close, just friends from before he married Mom. Merc, my wife called Mom earlier today to check up with her. She has a house full of family now helping to keep her mind off... Grandkids tend to do that I guess. There's several family members living within a few minutes drive of her and one just down the block so I know she will be well looked after. "btw~Your Mom doesn't look the type to beat up on you. " The heart is still there Merc, as strong as ever.

It's good to know your Mom has people with her. There's nothing better than having babies and little ones around to lift your heart.

Thank you, I really don't think of myself as 'pretty'. Just 'me'. lol! The best thing I did for myself was to let my hair grow out again. No one recognized me anymore....lol!

Titus, You and your wife look like the King and Queen of England. Where do you keep the sword used to bestow Knighthood on men of the realm? Do you have a roundtable in your dining room?
