Sorry Battleborn, but if you want to talk to just FF then do so on your email. As long as you're on this forum I want to very much give you my opinion. It's no trouble for me. It's actually a pleasure. Cataracts Cataracts Cat, that's why it's called a favor, not a order or a plea. As for you explination of your behavior on this board, I find it appalling that I must defend my religion and the existance of God with you showing how foolish some pious morons can be, and you also provide positive proof of why people walk away from religion with your "holier than thou" mindset. Your a person who's never said "what would Jesus do" because you can bet your bottom dollar he wouldn't be like you. Your an arrogant jackass, plain and simple. In the future try and be a better Christian.

The scientific theory of gravity is true--its works in all cases mathematically!

Well, I've got a few free moments. Lets see here....
What does a atheist say when all the evidence can't produce a logical and simple explianation? Do they just shrug their sholders and explain it away as random chance? Is this an example of an Athiest who cannot or will not see God in anything?[/u]
No, we don't shrug our shoulders and say that it was random chance. We say that given our limited knowledge and evidence, we can't come to a definitive answer.
Is it not even possible to consider devine intervention? Or perhaps devine inspiration?
While Theists love situations like these to plug their divine creator, our inability to answer certain questions of the universe does not prove your religion.
It would be great if Religion could be proven. No religion can provide definitive proof just as no athiest can provide proof of the non-existance of God. Given my limited time on this earth though, I still feel certain that God exists.
Why is it so easy for you to accept the fact that god directly intervened but you get all bent out of shape when I suggest it was luck? You could probably say the same thing about me but at least I have logic and common sense on my side.
It's not easy at all. I look at a situation like this and I want to find a answer as to why he survived while others died. I don't believe that God intervened directly to save him, but I do believe that his faith in God is what gave him the courage to make that charge.
Common Sense? So you call charging a German machine gun nest alone and without cover, receiving no wounds and capturing 130 men luck, and than try and say you have common sense on your side? I'm not Cat James, so try and keep those laurals off your head.
You don't see too many Atheists going to psychiatrists, feeling worthless or desperately trying to seek meaning to their lives. You won't know what I'm talking about until (or if) you come to this side.
I haven't seen many numbers on psychiatrict patients. Why do you think faith would have a role in this? Most people that go to psychiatrists do so because they are depressed because their is something wrong with their work, family, or marrage. These problems would often affect anyone whether they are religious or not.
Also, as some have pointed out to you, there are plenty of examples where people have gone to religion and it's gotten them on their feet and living a heathy and fruitful life. Once again I'm not sure where you get this view of the depressed faithful when in fact it is often the exact opposite.

How is it that your post to me straightened everything out? I always avoid name calling because it would make me look bad. Of course, not everyone agrees with me. C.

Gosh Fighting Falcon, did I say something to offend you? By the way, did you say "literary works"? LOL,,,LOL So Cat, You avoid namecalling because it would make you look bad? Drop the act pal. Your no Christian and this quote above just shows you to be a phoney who thinks he's better than everyone else because of his "faith." Frankly, you should look at your faith a little more closely if you hope to be a better Christain.

Battleborn, You are very judgemental. Namecalling does not make you look or sound any better. Maybe you should take your own advice.

Falcon, I think you're wrong about the laws of gravity in your post. In 100 years or so of mechanics it always works in quotum and other mechanical equations.
