Both the Assholes from my state voted Yea. They are just pandering to the Philipino's. We do have a massive amount of immigrants here, per capita it is very high. We also get a lot of illegals and one of our Reps was buying pizza for the canneries and signing them up to vote. Funny thing is resident aliens can't vote.

Lisa Murkowski has always been a panderer, but I never though Stevens was, he ran as a Repub, but he is artsy fartsy and more liberal than anything. I grew up w/his daughter and spent time at their house, he always seemed liberal to me.

2) It's good but I'm still pissed that companies will be fined for employing illegals.

Ultimately, remember that this is a Senate bill and the House is much more hostile towards "amnesty" than the Senate is. Nothing will probably happen before the mid-term elections.

I didn't see the changes to the amendment...I just saw the proposed amendment to make English the official language.

I saw that they changed it to English is a common and unifying language. I agree...very limp-wristed. Might as well just take it out.

What is that supposed to mean? McCain is not immune to criticism.

And I'm a person who has defended him endlessly from attacks by the radical left.

George Allen, Jeff Sessions, and DeMint are now my favorite US Senators. They actually have the guts to stad up and defend the interests of the United States.
